January Goals

Hard to believe we are headed into 2019!

Personally, I don’t really believe in resolutions. The idea of waiting until January to start working out or attempt to achieve a goal that you’ll likely ditch a month in is setting yourself up for failure.

Instead I prefer to set a few goals each month and work towards reaching them the best I can.

Don’t get me wrong, the start of a new year is the perfect time for a restart and refresh so setting bigger goals for the year is always a good idea. Just be realistic and don’t be so hard on yourself if you fail.

Let’s dive into my goals for January

  • Become better at saving money! December seems to suck your wallet dry so I want to go into January being more mindful on my purchases and putting away more money with each pay cheque.

  • Go from working out 1-2 days a week to 3-4 while working at eating healthier during the week.

  • Read two books

  • Declutter! I have a lot of things and clothes I need to go through and either donate or get rid of.

  • Attend at least one fitness class / yoga class. I normally work out at home so getting out there and trying something new is on my to-do list.

At the end of the month I’ll be checking it to let you know how accomplishing my goals went and if I struggled with anything.
